Sasaphras Studios was founded by Stephanie Berube in 2013 as an outlet for her creative endeavors. As a visual artist, Stephanie holds degrees in Studio Art and Art History from Hartwick College. She enjoys working in many different mediums, but primarily acrylics. The content of her work is inspired by a range of themes and ideas, including landscape, abstraction, the natural world, and esoteric philosophical concepts.
Most recently Stephanie has expanded to create her business, Sasaphras Yoga. A yoga practitioner for the last decade, Stephanie became certified with the 200hrYTT in March 2016 through the Marianne Wells Yoga School. She spent two weeks completely immersed in the training in beautiful Cahuita, Costa Rica. Stephanie is also certified in SUP Yoga and is making plans to offer classes on the water… stay tuned!
In addition to teaching Hatha style classes, she continues to take weekly classes and keep a daily home practice. Bringing together her passion for art and yoga, Stephanie hopes to share a little peace and creativity with the world and her students.
